There are words that use only hiragana あ～お

あ

voice when you are slightly surprised or when you remember something

ああ　

voice when you sigh or feel happy or sad
voice when you casually say yes

あああ　あーー

voice when you are very surprised, especially when you want to stop someone or something

Note: The deeper the surprise, the more “あ” you can say or write.
